We provide a limited range of facilities for people with reduced mobility or who require wheelchair access.

Whilst Southbourne Guest House has not been formally rated for accessibility we have made a significant effort in modifications to facilitate people with restricted mobility.

  • Our ground floor twin bedded room has been designed with a large central turning circle.
  • The en-suite shower room has been fitted with a roll in shower tray, seat, grab rails and WC grab rail.
  • We have a further two ground floor rooms available for people with lesser disabilities.
  • A wheelchair lift to the first floor provides access to a further seven bedrooms for people with lesser disabilities.
  • All power points and light switches throughout the building have been positioned for ease of access from a seated position.
  • Our breakfast room seating arrangements are flexible to facilitate ease of access for people in wheelchairs.
